What is a Virtual Window?
The Virtual Window is not a picture of a scenery stuck on a piece of glass. The technology involves an Environment LED light system, that creates an illusion of space, and you actually feel as though you are looking out of a window, at the scenery. The dimension of the scenery and the lighting is such, that the mind believes in the vastness and reality of the image.
How does it work?
Virtual Window uses a high tech light box with a LED panel for display. The LGP is made of a light-transmittable acrylic resin material, and the light source is situated on its sides. On one side of the LGP, is the design pattern, comprising of printed dots, pulsating laser dots and V-grooves. These dots and grooves guide the light which is emitted from the light source, to the image and illusion of space.
Types of RealSky Virtual Windows
RealSky Virtual Windows are available in two versions. The Standard version allows you to control the brightness of the back light, and you will be able to dim the light to set the correct mood. Version 2 has more advanced features by which you will be able to simulate sunrise or sunsets and also includes settings of different colors. You will be able to control the ambient light of the scenery, so as to depict any time of the day that you wish. The color settings will allow you to also include fictional colors of your choice. Both versions of the windows come with a controller. RealSky Virtual Windows can be made to the size of your choice, and are also available in standard sizes of 2 x 4 ft, 4 x 4 ft and 4 x 8 ft. You have a wide selection of landscapes, sceneries, deep space and other themes to choose from the our library of High Definition prints. You also have the choice of providing your own graphics, and the we will see if it can be transformed into the required HD format. RealSky Virtual Windows can run on 120V as well as 220V output. These windows are quite energy efficient and consume less than 1 watt per square foot of display.
